Hi all

I am thinking about going with AC and linking to Lytec PM, and using AC just for EMR. Couple of questions if anyone has some experience in this area.

I heard that AC database (Sql Server) cannot be on the same server as the Lytec DB - is this true?

I would be using X-Link to move data back and forth - how does this actually work? Do I need X-Link on each workstation or is there a master workstation that has one copy of x-link? It is automatically initiated or do I have to manually run something all the time to get data back and forth.

When importing images, do the images get stored in the database or on a file share and the DB just points to the image files?

I am having a heck of a time getting anyone from AC to answer these questions so I thought I would ask those who actually live the product.
