In addition to using the offsite backup, we're also backing up our 2008 SBS Server with a Seagate Black Armor NAS nightly. Using Acronis Backup & Recovery 10, I've attempted to create a daily backup that will encompass the critical AC files in case of a disaster.
Tried to run it yesterday for the first time, and got error messages stating that 'cannot access the file AmazingCharts.ldf because it is being used by another process.' It doesn't seem to matter if anyone is actually using AC.My question is whether or not this will be able to run even after hours with nobody on AC. If that's not the issue, can I simply backup the most important database files/folders independent of what's in the entire AC folder on my server?
Any suggestions are appreciated!
