I think the idea of faxing directly from AC may be better than using the eRx companies. For one thing, you only have to input the Rx one time. But you do have to build up your database of pharmacies. May not be a problem in some areas, but in NYC its a pain. We have 3 Duane Reades with 2 blocks (at Least 3). What makes the eRx system we're experimenting with handy is that when the patient asks for their refill they can put the pharmacy on the message. If we choose to refill, it will go straight to that pharmacy.
