I'm not arguing theory. I know what my experience was. On primarily Dell Optiplex GX620s, but also 2 custom built boxes (i3 and i5), everything with rxing was slow. Updating .net to v4 made almost no difference. Video card (and this was the only change) made a HUGE difference.

One thought- our "main" computer is Win7Pro, all else XPPro. Is it possible that a network that was all XPPro would run well, the mix of 7 and XP contributes to the problem?
