Is receiving faxes as emails secure, HIPPA Compliant?
That would be a really good option for me.
It would be the email used to send those faxes used SSL. But I think sending them through a service like Gmail is not HIPAA compliant as the data is stored on their servers when it is sent. Small Business Server on the other hand has Exchange which is good for internal and external email. The faxes wouldn't need to pass through any external SMTP servers. It would just use your Exchange's SMTP server.
