I had issues with Adobe as well on my Win 7 computers. There is a conflict with Adobe and the speech recognition built in to Win 7. Going in to Adobe, under preferences, and turning off the protected mode at startup seems to have fixed the issue. Found this after googling the issue but can't remember the site. Hope it helps.
