Recently our office purchased two new computers: a Dell desktop and an HP elitebook laptop. Both computers have Windows 7 Professional. We are using AC V5.17. We are experiencing problems where AC will freeze-up while attempting to open PDF files in Imports. Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard will not work at all with AC 5.17 and Windows 7 Pro. Turn off the AC and Adobe Acrobat or Adobe X Reader will work fine on Windows 7. Our database is on a server with Windows SBS 2003. Has anyone else had any problems with opening PDF files on a pc with Windows 7. Another related question, will other pdf readers such as PDF-Xchange work with AC?
