Thanks Barb, I have tried a number of times to no avail to delete the background. Your directions works. I had to tweak a few things. I needed a larger new document (264 by 100). I could not delete the background on the old document, but when I transferred it to the new one, I deleted the background.
I am still playing with it. I had 3 sizes of signatures for Paperport depending on what I am signing. I will convert all of them.
