Bill do some troubleshooting.
First, tell us every computer you have on the network and which computer houses the databases. If you have others that are Vista Home that work, then there goes my theory.
However, if you have seven computers on your network and all the rest are Pro or Business and you can't duplicate the error but you can on the Vista Home machine, that would go a long way to help you resolve your issue.
If that were the case you could take that computer off the network, uninstall it and reinstall it with the database and see if you can duplicate the error.
