When you sign off on a note, the options are
- Print all
- Preview
- Print to default printer
There's no print function that will give you the option to select your printer. You can only go to Print Preview and from there select a printer.
When you write a prescription, the options are:
- Preview
- Print to default printer.
Again, the only way to select a printer is to go to preview first.
As to saving the notes, the problem with sending charts to someone's inbox, including me, is that if someone else wanted to add something to a partial note, then I will have to send them that chart from my inbox first. Otherwise there will be 2 instances of the chart. What I would like to be able to do is to write something, save the note without signing it. Then have the chart available for the nurse to add something else to the same note without signing it, and then save it again, etc.
