Care360 is a web based application from Quest Diagnostics that is an inexpensive add-on to their free web lab result portal. After my staff enters the drug to be approved or renewed for a patient ( after a call from the patient, as requests from renewals from pharmacies go directly to my homepage), I access my Care360 portal page where there are lists of meds to be renewed or refilled that either came from the pharmacy or from my office staff. I then chose each patient/drug request and either approve directly and send to pharmacy, edit and send or deny. Everyone likes the efficient way in which this frequent transaction takes place.

We began using Care360 about 10 months ago only recently have stated to implement AC. We are able to send Rx from AC, but renewals will continue to go to Care360 until we have his changed. Given how well Care360 handles these various functions, I will have not made the switch yet and continue to use both programs. That does require some more manual entries and reconciliations in AC; it will be nice at some point in the future to just use AC for this reason. Right now this hybrid works for us.
