Yes, you can convert a .csv file to an .xml file by simply renaming the file and removing the .csv and imputing .xml. So, for example, you have patient1.csv. You would rename it to patient1.xml. If you do not see the extension at the end of the file name, go to folder options in the control panel and uncheck the "Hide known file extensions" option. If you can not see the extension and try to rename it, you will get something like this. patient1.xml.csv which will not convert it.

Jerad, I agree with you on that. There really is not anything explaining that the encounters can be imported as a CCR. I will bring your request to the development team. I would also recommend that you enter that as a recommended improvement. The more they see the request, the faster it will be added.
