As part of our office policy for patients receiving opiates for treatment of chronic pain, %FNAME submitted to a urine drug screen today. While the sample collection was not observed, the sample temperature was within the expected range. %FNAME understands that we test both for the presence of %his prescribed medications as well as for drugs of abuse. Proper chain of custody was observed, and the specimen was forwarded to Calloway Labs for GC/Mass Spec confirmation, and we will review the results with %him when they become available.
