I think the real solution to the unintended deletion (I did one today - ouch!), is to allow notes to be saved back to the main computer's database as a "draft". Changes can be made by multiple contributors to the note, with everyone seeing changes, before it is finally signed off.
As it stands now, the only way to do this is to shuttle the chart back and forth between email boxes. I often end up with more than one version of the same note in my box.
