One more suggestion on this topic (I've just come from the yahoo group practiceimprovement with some "cross-over members" from this group. One more option for a deleted/lost note is to open your deleted messages mailbox and the note should be there- you can forward it back to yourself. I have not tried this one myself but that would be an even better solution as it is formatted in the official note style- not a text file. Will only work if you have not closed AC which then dumps the deleted mailbox contents.
Bert- thanks for the heads up on where the lastnote feature is saved- I was not aware of that- now I won't go crazy looking for it in the wrong place.
