What's the best way to send out a 1. mass mailing and 2. mass email to my patients from AC?

I don't know that there is an easy way. When I needed to move my office, I was able to export a list of patients with address and take to a local print office. They were able to design and print a post card about the move and bulk mail for us. Didn't do an email.

If you use a portal service, like Updox, you can send out blast texts, which I believe is offered as part of their premium service, or a Patient Broadcast and it will send everyone with a registered portal account whatever message you like. We did this a couple of years ago when we were going to be closed for 2 weeks for vacation, to mixed responses. I sometimes get alerts, even as recently as this morning, that a patient has opened the message. The only drawback is that there wasn't a way to send it to patients that were only seen within a certain span of time, it goes ALLLLL the way back to when you started your portal service. This caused a little bit of annoyance to inactive patients, who then asked why we were messaging them. But it reached a lot of people, just not anyone without a portal account.

Thanks for the suggestions. Like Trista said, I would probably limit the list to patients seen in the last 5 years. I know how to generate that list in AC, but getting it into a form where we could print mailing labels would be great. If the print shop can do it, like Chris said, we should be able to figure it out.
