Hey folks has anyone tried this new interface with the "E" Rx thing rcopia? Who if anyone knows anything about this whole deal besides what's on their webpage and link from AC? I couldn't find a price on this anyway on their site...

I have returned from NYS Officials' Seminar at Clarkson in Potsdam NY none the worse for wear. Was actually a lot of fun for the most part. Thanks y'all.

I dont know, but when I looked at the interface description it says "Export Demographics Only." That sounds like you can send your patient demographics to Rcopia from AC, but that you still need to enter the Rx twice (in AC and Rcopia).

Has anyone used Rcopia outside of AC? Is it a good system?

we currently have nextgen (going to switch to AC) and have been using Rcopia. rcopia is the only e-rx program we've used but it works very well. we basically use it separately from the EMR rx portion. it's lumped into our EMR cost so i'm not sure what the solo cost is. we're planning to keep using rcopia when we switch to AC.

Matt,
Welcome back from the CCHITTY Dark Side and to the Ben & Jerry's AC side!!! Nice to know ya and have you aboard. I have a request as someone who is leaving large bloated NexGen CCHIT certified, might you start a thread and share your experiences as to why you are doing what we all know is the right thing but our Zig Heil gov't thinks is the wrong thing? I think getting stories like yours out is so important. And you should talk to our friend Al who posts here as he is constantly working on breaking the CCHIT strangle hold.

Hey Al are you listening? We found another live one for ya???

Glad to have you aboard Matt.
