Are there any eye doctors using amazing charts? If yes, how do you print prescription for glasses? Has anyone tried to enter vision and eye pressure measurements in the fields of BP, P, Wt, and Ht?

I'm an ophthalmologist using AC. I print glasses rx in the RX field
I just put Spectcle Rx
(next line) +000-100x090 OD, +000-100x090 OS, Add +200 OU
I even do CTL rx this way.
I put the Va and IOP in the template
I also add IOP, pachymetry, HVF, gonio,etc in the tracked data. That way it's all there and I can the date when they were last done. A bit redundant but AC is clearly not eye/specialty specific.
For DFE I save a JPEG image in pictures, edit in word paint and then import with DFE 00-00-0000 today's date. If you bill 92225 or 92226 to be medicare complaint....

Thanks for the reply. I'm so glad there is another ophthalmologist using AC. For the DFE, I assume you are using a digital camera. Have you been able to automatically transfer VF and NFL laser scans directly into AC? I am planning to scan in the VF and GDx laser scans. Any suggestions? Also for the VA and IOP templates, do you type in the visual acuity ie., 20/40 and the numbers for the mm Hg? Thanks.

ACTUALLY FOR THE DFE I DRAW A PICTURE IN WINDOWS PICTURE FAX/VIEWR AND IMPORT INTO AC ON INITIAL VISIT ( THE SIZE IS SET FOR THE MEDICARE REQUIRED SIZE FOR CPT 92225 OR 92226)
I SCAN HVF IN AND THEY LOOK FINE. I ACTUALLY SCANNED IN DIGITAL FA PHOTOS WITH EXCELLENT QUALITY. IT IS JUST A MATTER OF CHANGING THE SETTINGS ON YOUR SCANNER. JUST BOUGHT A FANTASTIC SCANNER BROTHER MFC8460N WORKS GREAT. I'M SURE THE GDXS WOULD SCAN WELL ALSO. IF NEEDED I'M SURE AC CAN MAKE AN INTERFACE FOR THE PROGRAM JUST LIKE OTHER EMRS.... AS FOR VA AND IOP I JUST TYPE IN THE NUMBERS. NO NEED FOR UNITS UNLESS YOU USE MULTIPLY METHODS TO MEASURE
