Hey we just had a bit of a glitch on one of our laptops. I was able to run a utility and sort of clean things up in the O.S. (XP Tablet Pro) but now AC and some but not all programs have distorted and blobby choice buttons (like the "all patients", "active patients" buttons) as well as the drop down arrows, the arrows themselves are all distorted and look like squiggly little hourglasses instead of pointed arrows. And on the programs that the buttons and arrows look OK, instead of having black dots and check marks next to the choices in the drop down menus, instead I've got little sideways 69's like the symbol for the sign cancer and little computer "mice" symbols too. Very strange. So AC thinks it a problem in the O.S. (a distinct possiblity) while Gateway tech support wonders if either AC beta or our dying Norton subscription screwed up things, put a wrench in it or messed up our O.S. regisitries. cry
I know that this is a long shot but has anybosy else seen anything like this before and if so, what the heck did you do about it? I'm going to buy a registry cleaning utility tomorrow. Any suggestions on a good product anyone? Have a good weekend....

I have had a couple of system crashes but no similar problems, then again, I am not using tablets or Norton for my anti-virus program.
