I am using AC 3.1.6 and recently have been having problems accessing the imported items (PDF). When I click on a file I get a box with Internet Explorer Script Error saying an error has occurred on the scrpit on this page with an invalid character. This only happens on my computer. The other workstations seem to be fine. Not sure if it is related to PaperPort 11 that I had upgraded to. Greg

Is this a new problem for you? After the upgrade to Paperport 11?
I have encountered the same problem but I thought it was due to the Beta 3.58 I have been trying at home with some dummy patients.
You see, In the office we still print out notes and keep documents in paper chart. 2007 is our dateline to implement digital documents. We are still sorting the way to do it.
After reviwing multiple treats here and in other forums I thought that AC could partnered with a document management software as Paperport to make easier this task.
I hope this two programs could be used together.

I haven't been seeing the script error, but we are having a problem. Our doctor's PC sometimes can't see the imported item in a chart. Just yesterday, a patient came in and she asked me about their labs not being scanned in. I had JUST reviewed the patients chart on another PC and closed it. When I looked at her PC, there were no labs nor was any of the other documents that had been scanned showing. It just had that message about no imported items being present. I just installed 3.6.1 on Saturday, so it may be with that. I"m not sure because I think she asked about something like this once before but when I went to her PC I found it. I assumed it was "user error" but I may owe her an appology now.
Sometimes she attempts to view an imported item and only part of the page will show. You scroll down and its not there,as if there was an error when it was scanned. But go to another PC and its right there. It will also be there when you close the chart and come back to it. When this happpend in front of a patient, we were lucky since the patient was all goo-goo-eyed about us having an EMR she didn't care about the glitch. "That's soooooo coooool!!" HA! We got away with it.

I had the same problem which was happening on only one computer and downloaded the new Adobe reader version 8 which seemed to resolve this.

Tried uninstalling PaperPort 11, but no success. Still can't see the imported items, I just get a script error. I am using Adobe Acrobat 6.0.
