Before I upgrade the ICD-9 and CPT code I would like to know:
1. Are changes made in the ICD-9 code prior to upgrade retained?
2. I spent a lot of time deleting codes that are unbillable, or codes that I would not use in my practice. Would upgrading to the beta-version re-install deleted codes?
3. Is there a way to selectively add only new codes and delete inactivated codes for 2007.

In the past, once you got updated your databases ICD, CPT, med list, all your editing efforts were lost. The new databases would replaced the old ones.

Playing around with Beta 3.5 and ICD, CPT updated databases in my house, I noticed there is feature during the update that apparently will allow you to keep your edited codes, some sort of syncronization I belive.

However, I have not test it in my real practice so I am not sure how accurate this might be.
