Folks,

I just downloaded AC a few months ago and I started testing just now... I forgot my Admin password... Any easy way to retreive it or I have to uninstall and reinstall to set a new password?

You can call Technical Support -- I believe they will have it on file, because you have to use it to log on to the download website as well. It should be accessible to them somehow.

Worse comes to worse, they can probably remote access to your database and retrieve it.

Brian,

Where do you have to use your Admin password on the download site? I have never had to do that. Has it changed?

Jeff,

Uninstalling and reinstalling the program would not help UNLESS you deleted your AmazingCharts.mdb database. The Admin password is stored in that database, so you would be stuck with the same problem. If you had no data you needed, then you could start from scratch and, of course, have to re-enter all of your practice data, which is not that big of a deal.

I feel very helpful. Hell, I have been on here for three hours and done none of my patient work. But, I LOVE being on here. And, the new list of recent posts showing up on the left has made it worse. smile

Did you get my answer to your doorbell problem. I have a good story if you do. Actually, I have another related story, that I consider the funniest story of all time, but it is best told over a few beers.
