1. Could we add siblngs slots to the demographic page and an area for mother and father's name. As a pediatrician having kids with 4 different last names isn't uncommon and if they could be stored on the demographics page that would be great.

2. Can we add phone numbers to the messages or to the small box that appears with the patient data on the lower left part of the screen? It wastes alot of time going back and forth between multiple screens to get that info.

Welcome to AC. Not so sure about the first idea, but in five years no one has mentioned the second. That is a brilliant idea. It would be even better if one could choose what data to pull into the message such as:

Phone number
Preferred pharmacy
Allergies

A lot of messages are for medication refills, change of antibiotic, my entire family now has sore throat so it must be strep, etc.

Also for the first question, a second line for emergency contact phone numbers. My patients want to give a home and a cell.

For years I have been asking to have a "link" or connection of some sort to connect these families with five last names. Also on the same idea I always wanted a way of adding a new patient from an exsisting one, so when you do all the basic self auto fill since they are family members. Address, phone number, subscriber. Obviously if needed at least we could always redo what needed to be different.

But again I always wanted some way of linking these multi-name blended families. So if I bring up any family member or highlight them in the look-up section in the upper left hand section of the main AC screen, hit a radio button of like "Link to family members" and instead of all the people who are aphabetically in the little window, up pops all related, linked family members. Now I can see that Mommy Smith is also the mom of Baby Jones. These blended, re-married families with five last names drive my brain crazy.....
