After todays conference call.....AC stated v12.4 AC will be installing SQL Server express 2022 due to EOL on SQL server 2016. As long as installed by July 14, 2026 (EOL date), then one is still considered "HIPPA compliant". Is this the only reason v12.4 will be a mandatory update or is there any other reason?

BTW AC also said if have SQL Server 2016 SP3 or higher, then AC will automatically upgrade to SQL Server 2022 during the AC upgrade process and AC support does not have to install it (like when went from 32 bit SQL server to 64 bit SQL server... that was a pain!)

Will SQL express 2022 run well on Microsoft Server 2019?

Maybe a good time to upgrade to Microsoft Server 2022?

SQL Server 2022 is supported on the following Server Operating Systems:

--Windows Server 2016
--Windows Server 2019
--Windows Server 2022
--Windows Server 2025

All of my clients that purchased a Windows Server 2022 or 2025 license but had to downgrade to 2019 just because of SQL Server will be quite pleased.
