Since we upgraded to AC 12.3.0 build 380 we have a rather strange problem e-rxing controlled med for a month supply and subsequent 2 months on the same day.

Previously when I sent for example adderall 10mg 1 a day, #30 for this mth,
then for next month, sent adderall 10 mg 1 a day #30 with instructions to pharmacist to fill it on or after 9/26/2025,
then for month after, sent another adderall 10 mg 1 a day # 30 with instructions to fill on or after 10/26/2025 --
-- it would go thru.

Now we get this strange and impractical warning:
Cannot transmit some or all prescriptions because:
The original prescription for adderal 10 mg was printed today and is not able to be sent electronically. So I cannot send the subsequent month scripts while patient is sitting in the room and finish my job.

This is rather strange block from AC. Not sure why or rationale.

So far I have been working around that block by sending the subsequent scripts the next day I come to office and the day after for the 3rd mth.

Any other suggestions?

Can AC go back to old ways or some authority is prohibiting them from sending subsequent month scripts the same day?

Thanks in advance

Interesting this is just happening to you. I am still on Version 12.0.0 and have had this same problem for as long as I can remember. I know it has been like this since, at least, the prescribing database migration fiasco.

Oh and don't let Bert see this post, he can give you a whole chapter book on this problem and controlled substance prescribing issues we have tried to get AC to fix. GOOD LUCK!
