OK, I am trying to eliminate (inactivate) patients who called to register but were never seen. I have tried searches with patients not seen in >275 months and such, but none come up I tried no diagnoses (only showed patients that had been seen)
Am I missing something???

Wendell, When I run a report with the category "Schedule", operator ">", field "not seen in last X months" and value "250", I get a large number of patients (thousands).
Prior to starting with AC about 15 years ago, we scanned in all our old paper records. That means many of our patients who were never subsequently seen actually have some old records scanned into imported items.
Nonetheless, I would think this report would also include all the "registered but never seen" patients you are trying to identify.
Is that the same way you ran the report?

Yes, that’s the same way but it doesn’t show patients who haven’t been seen, only those that had a prior visit

I sent Amazing Charts a webchat to ask. This is the email response I got:
Hello,
Jen from Amazing Charts technical support. At this time we do not have a way to run a report for patients who are in AC but never seen by a provider.

I think this report should give you the list you are looking for.
I always like to start by selecting only active charts:
Demographics --> inactive=False Schedule --> Not seen in last X months (without an upcoming appointment)>500
This essentially gives you a list of patients who do not have upcoming appointments and who have not been seen in over 500 months. I'm sure 500 is overkill, you could just use the number of months that you have been using AC.
Another note, you may have to look at the list and sort by chart number and decide to inactivate chart numbers that are older. In our practice we do not schedule an appt until we receive records from the previous PCP, so some of our newer charts are created, but not yet scheduled.
Hope this helps. Aaron
