So for many of you, clicking on Prescription Drug Monitoring at the top of the prescription writer, gives you an error message instead of going to the PMP site. I can't speak to whether it works on Windows 10 (I have heard it does), but I can tell you it doesn't work if you are running AC on a Windows 11 computer.
Below is the fix:
Type CMD in the search box next to Start, run as admin, type mmc at the cursor, File, select Add/remove Snap-in, double-click on certificates, select computer account, next, select local computer, finish, OK, click on arrow next to Certificates (local computer), click on arrow next to Personal, click on certificates, right-click on Harriscomputer.com, All tasks, select manage private keys, click on Everyone (if it doesn't exist click on Add, Advanced, Find now, everyone), OK, OK. Close MMC, Click yes to save console settings, Save.
You will now be able to click on Prescription Drug Monitoring at the top of the prescription writer and the PMP site will open. Wash, rinse, repeat on every Windows 11 computer.
If it doesn't or you are unable to do the directions above, let me know. If you find you can't do it, I will be happy to remote into your computer and do it for you.

Thanks too for pointing out the "SEND PUSH NOTIFICATION" for controlled substance Two-Factor Authentication. I got this to work with the APP and use it most of the time, much faster for refills.
Wish you could check the PMP while in the refill screen.......

Thanks, again, worked on the second laptop that has not been able to access PMP since last year with version 12.0!
No more using a laptop in the room, sending the chart back to myself and then reopening on a desktop that would mark the PMP reviewed in the note or no more going to the website and then going back to the chart.
And I doubt we are the only 2 with this problem!!!

I know we have talked about this, but have you tried the method I posted on the board to see if it helps even on Windows 10 Pro and version 12?

One thing I have repeatedly asked for is that you be able to send messages to the staff from the the electronic refill request screen.
This screen also needs to be able to access the PDMP system for refills, yes I've asked for this to be fixed as well. In the state of Texas we have to access the PDMP for EVERY refill of a controlled substance. I counted ho many clicks it took me to go from the e-refill screen to the PDMP and the grand total is 9. That may not sound like a lot but try it and see how frustrating it is for 9 clicks and the waiting in between!
