I elected this year to offer the new Pfizer COVID vaccine - Comirnaty 2024-2025.

Decision Support - Immunizations & Shots - the 2024-2025 Pfizer COVID vaccine is NOT listed - the 2023-2024 is listed.

I have a growing stack of immunizations visits and encounters that included an immunization that I can not submit.

2 weeks ago AC advised waiting a couple of weeks. Today AC explained the med list must be updated and that happens whenever that happens. They suggested I post to "recommend improvement."

The CDC recommends getting a 2024-2025 COVID-19 Vaccine. There are ONLY 3.

2024–2025 Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine
2024–2025 Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine
2024–2025 Novavax COVID-19 Vaccine

Only 3.

Until it is added, I can not document or bill for a service advised by the CDC.

Does anyone have a workaround?

Can I add a vaccine name to the database?

Same issue around recording Comirnaty 2024-2025 vaccine in my office.

I emailed Amazing Charts last week with the issue. Crickets to date.

Lots of administered vaccine cannot be recorded until this is fixed. It is driving my Medical Assistant fairly bonkers.

This is currently being worked on and it is marked as priority critical. Unfortunately I do not have an ETA at this time. I will add these comments to the development case.

Edit: according to our dev department, the meds update should have been pushed out today. If it does not appear in your EHR in the next day or so, contact support at techsupport@amazingcharts.com

I always have to contact AC support and keep emailing them every time there's a new vaccine. It's a pain.

Please let the AC team know we appreciate how quickly they solved the problem once they knew its importance.
And thanks for providing it without a year designation - less confusion and fewer updates - "COMIRNATY COVID-19 mRNA."
