Anyone else having the "LAB: auto-import failure notification - 1 error." in the inbox after the v12 update? I don't have any lab interfaces and never have had any. However, the error continues to notify me multiple times daily for me to turn on my desired interface. Anyone have a fix on how to stop this error notification? I have not contacted tech support, yet. It is more of an annoyance.
Trying to Print Demographics on a patient gives unhandled exemption error and does not print. Doesn't matter the workstation or printer selected. This never happened in prior versions. Anyone else seeing this error?
AC support just called my office after I sent email. They state the issue is known and they are working on it. He called to ask the build # I am on (build 361). Sounds like a new build is coming. Hopefully this unhandled exemption error gets fixed soon.
The work around for not being able to print demographic is to highlight the demographic and copy and paste into a word document, then print that. Info is there, just not laid out like in the SAP crystal reports window.

Other workaround. I did not see the PDF save as feature before until pointed out by support.

Here is the fix for anyone that does not have a lab interface:
Turn off the auto import feature by going to the Admin Options. Then clicking on Automated Tasks at the top, then on the left column there is an "Import Labs Automatically" option. Select that and uncheck "Task Enabled" and click OK.
See Above, sorry this is a known issue and AC is working on it. When did you download build 361? It looks like the build on the portal is back to 358. Hopefully there is a fix to this issue today, Jon posted that it should be fixed today.
That is the other interesting part. I downloaded 361 on 5/28, installed it yesterday and today 358 is the available one!
We had to resort to old fashioned pre-EMR days of getting blank lab orders from the local hosp lab and use those paper order with microscopic check boxes for individual lab, write the codes, my name, demographics etc ..........
Also with 355/361, the prescribed meds do not flow into the progress notes or message box.
Of course AC will not let us install 358 as we already have 361. (Assuming 358 is a better one)
I think 361 had more bugs than 358 that is why AC reverted. You just happened to get stuck on 361 like ffac. I don't think he has a problem printing labs just demographics. Hopefully "362" will fix this soon! BrotherJon needs to keep us posted. I would like to know what happens with the builds so we know kind of what to look for.
I also have noticed that the prescribed meds are not showing up in the chart, initially. I think this happens when you first MAP the meds and then go to prescribe something. So what I mean is when you first open to prescribe, you have to MAP meds, you can not leave anything "unmapped". The program will not allow you to skip ANY med, if you do it will look like you are able to prescribe but you can't. It will not transmit anything. After you MAP the meds, prepare, prescribe and transmit, the prescribing box closes and reopens but the med did not flow into the chart. You have to close the prescribing box, reopen and re-prescribe the med. It will be in the med list just not in the chart. You can either retransmit (just to be sure), print or preview print and then the med will flow into the chart. A medication will also not flow into the chart note if it is on the second round of prescribing. Example, you open the prescribe box, prepare, prescribe, transmit and the boom the box closes only to reopen. So, pt forgot they need something else, oh good the prescribing box is already open, prepare, prescribe, transmit med gets sent and you should be done. The only problem is this med does not flow into the chart.
I mentioned this to Support (about prescribed meds not showing up after Mapping). Their initial thinking was something to do with the settings but I see it is not just my computer.

We upgraded to v12 yesterday and got build 369 - the rep said this is the most stable build to date and resolved some errors with eRX that were lingering.

As of 6/3/2024 latest build on AC download site is still build 358. Did you have AC support do the install to get a later build?

Thanks, ffac. You saved me a call to support by posting that here.
