We are finally saying goodbye to Amazing Chart. We believe we have made that decission. Its bittersweet, as I was involved since 2006, when I would work with Dr Bertman.
I have build some automation and some scripts that helped initial development of AC. I used to be part of the big software company, and knew SQL server inside out(was software dev in SQL Server team). But life has carried on and I have climbed the corporate ladder and got away from day-to-day activities of my wife's practice.

The decision is to move to Athena One EMR. Now need to help in that transition. I need to talk to the migration team, but I believe they need CCD-A format.
Any pitfalls of others who have moved to Athena ? How easy and what should we be careful about.

I am sure I will bug others like Bert and Sandeep and others.

I have no experience, would recommend JamesNT as he has been a wealth of knowledge here.

On the other hand, can I ask why the move?

why move off Amazing Charts. In the past 20 years software has come a long way and moved over to the cloud. Products like AC are perfectly built for Cloud and having the ability to access it anywhere and everywhere with all kinds of integration.

I myself have seen the transformation in my career moving on from working on on prem software like MS SQL Server to working in probably the biggest cloud software company.

Guess I'm still confused on why the move, AC has the option for cloud or local set up.
