We are looking at integrating with our State Registry - what's the goods on how well AC does with it? We're in Iowa, and I'm concerned about keying errors that we are seeing ALL OVER the charts right now (lot numbers entered off by one letter/number, etc). We've implemented a bunch of new systems to ensure accuracy and correct inventory counts - but we STILL have problems. I will do anything to decrease the problems.

We've been using the interface with the Texas vaccine registry for a several years. Setting it up was very.. trying. But now that it's working, it's so much better than keying it in. How well it works will probably depend on how well AC/STC works with each state registry. The most problems we've had with this interface is when there's a new vaccine code (hello, all the COVID vac codes) and AC doesn't have it added right away. I have had to contact AC on several occasions to get codes added. (I know we can add CPT codes but to get the vaccine part to work AC has to do something to the med database, I think.)

I wonder if this will be better with the new update coming soon? I was told that it was primarily a medication database change/update?
