Has anyone taken the MATE 8-hour course? I am assuming it is online. You have to complete the course prior to obtaining your next DEA license. https://www.deadiversion.usdoj.gov/pubs/docs/MATE_training.html

I have 2 hours already that can be applied to the requirements. I did an online CME session from Pri-med. I have 6 hours more to add to that. You do not have to have an 8 hours contiguous session. Pri-med is free. Florida Medical Association offers the 8 hours course for $200 for members and $300 for non-members.It consists of a bunch of modules. I do not agree with this requirement. It is another way to bleed us to spend more money. But it is what it is.
