About 2 weeks ago I clicked on the link to send immunizations to the registry(2 times/week) and received an error message that the registry link cannot be found. I have contacted support multiple times since then without any response. I tried instant chat a few times, but message said agents not available. I am getting very frustrated because Florida Shots is calling me to find out why we have not sent vaccine information lately. I am posting this out of frustration because I have not received any response from support and why we do not have connection to Florida Shots so suddenly.

Sorry, can't help because we do not use this service. I would continue to try the chat, the email and phone never seem to get a response from tech support.

This borders on the ridiculous. Every morning when I come in I place a call to support about the issue with the registry interface not working. So far no response. In the middle of the day, I would try to get "chat now" and still the same message (Our agents are not available at the moment). Out of desperation I called Florida Shots to see if maybe they can help me. They state they will also try to contact AC. I have NEVER had this happen when I needed support.

Thank you Chris. Update; received notice from contact at Florida Shots that there is an issue and apparently AC is working on fixing it. Apparently anyone with AC and immunization interface for FL Shots is affected. She states that she will let me know when it is fixed. Please note this is not information from Amazing Charts, they are still not responding to my support requests. I tried instant chat today again. The message states that I was the first one in line and would take about 4 minutes. After 45 minutes I just quit.

Whenever there's a problem w/ the TX vaccine registry and AC, I want to cry. It takes forever to get fixed. But, just be persistent with them. I understand it's hard because AC outsources the job to another company to STC, so they are just passing on the problem to STC and waiting for their response. All of my errors have been fixed but some of them took MONTHS. Keep emailing AC.

Thanks Serene. It IS frustrating. The silence from AC makes it more frustrating. Why can't they be upfront with us. I am getting info from other places except AC. I am going to continue trying to instant chat them.
Thank you

UPDATE: got through to support this am. Response from Brian: "okay, so we actually ended up finding out last week that there was an issue with the Florida Shots certificate allowing the transfer of data. the FloridaShots interface is currently down as of 08/24 according to FL Shots registry. Our data integrations team is currently working on the issue with FL Shots but we do not have an ETA of when all clients using FL Shots will be migrated to the new certificate, but it should hopefully be soon. If you can provide a phone number and email address we can update you once your practice has been migrated to the new certificate."
This is for anyone with AC and a FL Shots interface

Raj,
Yeah sometimes the problem is with the state registry and not AC/STC. That's happened to us before. I thought TX was just terrible at this stuff but I guess we're not the only state terrible w/ data exchange!
Do you get emails from the state? Or get the data quality reports from them? When the state was the problem, they eventually sent an email out to notify about the problem. I then forwarded the email to AC and apparently that was helpful for AC/STC.

No email from the State received. The person from FL Shots stated that the problem is with AC, who apparently was working on it

Connecticut is making immunization reporting mandatory by end of year I'm guessing AC/Harris/CT Wiz not a ready built into the software process. Why am I guessing it will be another add-on module costing~$500. a year to implement and then be buggy anyway! Guess my patients will be visiting Walgreens a bit more

See if there is a manual website where you can enter vax data. Our state has one. It's not too bad for staff to do. We can also do queries there to see if a pt had ptx 23 or prevnar before.
Don't cede another part of health care to large corporations that can meet all the hurdles.

Yeah if you're not pediatrics and not giving tons of vaccines, I would go w/ manual entry. The headache of registry interface is not worth it!

Unfortunately manual would be too tedious because of the number of vaccines we give. The manual input of vaccines can be used through the Florida shots website.
