I have been playing around with v11.2 (I haven't full committed to it yet). I haven't found any glaring errors, but it is always difficult to tell until you start banging out it when it is your real program.

Has anyone else started using it in real time (installed and being used as their everyday application)? If so, what has been your experience?

Any updates?

Question for those on AC in the cloud, do you feel this is faster than having the server in house?

What "version" of AC is in the cloud, is there a difference from the cloud vs the locally stored program version?

My sense is that the latest non-beta release would be in the cloud. But, jimmie is the one to ask by PM. He has been in the clouds for a long, long time and has been on AC for even longer.

Anybody want to comment on Version 11.2?

Just wondering if there is release date?

For me, the slowest part of the program is the prescription writer, which seems to be a thrd party problem. Sometimes it's pretty fast, and sometimes it takes a minute or more to load up the Rx writer screen. I can't see that changing AC version would help that.

There needs to be one developer specifically devoted to the script writer with two support techs. smile

I am still on 11.1 but as for the release date:

"Amazing Charts 11.2 has been moved to Q3 2022 after everyone has updated to SQL Server 2016 (please refer to FAQ). " - 6/23/22 AC Announcement

Well great, guess I'll look into the 2016 update! I was hoping to wait and do both.

Translation: our support staff which was already under-staffed and under-funded is getting clobbered by the SQL 2016 upgrade and we do not want to make this situation worse by having people upgrade AC versions at the same time.
We can "flatten the curve" of tech demand by splitting the two.

I thought I read somewhere in the early posts about v11.2 that the SQL upgrade was included in the installer package. Has it been taken out?

I thought so too. After Friday I can tell you. I plan on breaking everything then.

Yes it was supposed to be part of 11.2, that is why I was going to wait!

Good luck Bert!!!!!
