When I do an AC search for Insurance = BCBS for example, query results show patient charts that have BCBS but it also includes patients with INACTIVE BCBS. This isn't very helpful - it includes everyone who's ever had BCBS in their chart. Is there a way to get a list of just active BCBS patients?? I looked all through the search categories and don't see it.

Serene,

Try adding "Insurance type not <> NONE" to your query criteria.

That will list the Insurance type, ie. Primary, Secondary, etc in your results. Then you can sort on Insurance type to put the inactive BCBS at the bottom of the list.

OR, if you're only interested in BCBS primary policies, then add "Insurance type = Primary" to your Query criteria.

Hope this helps.
