Hi,
My brother MFC-L5800DW bought 4 years ago needs to be replaced. Any recommendation for a better printer that lasts longer?
Thank you

I tried an HP for our main printer, hated it, went back to a Brother MFC-5850DW. We use it as the main network printer and added another Brother MFCL-2740DW for the fax receive/send function as well as scan and print for one of the workstations. We use Paperport to import faxes into AC. I moved the HP to another one of the workstations, it was working fine for printing and scanning but now will not scan, no reason, just quite one day. It did not work well as the main network printer.

Thank you, Chris. How is MCFL-2740DW? Is it working fine? I paid ~$300 for L5800DW 4 years ago, now it costs ~$700, I wonder if I can use L-2740DW instead?

It works well for a single computer and user but not sure I would want the whole office on it. paper tray too small and does not have the PPM capacity to hold up to several people sending it info. Just my opinion. Office Depot shows a Brother 5850 to be $419.

Thank you, Chris. I find one in Staples which is more closer to me.
