OK, so I may be going crazy. Obviously, you can double-click on the patient and the chart opens. Was there ever a time (like version 10 for example) that you could right-click on the patient and select "Pull chart" or something to that effect? I know you can select MRE, but just wondering.

Hi Bert.
Yes, there used to be a "Pull Chart" option that would bring you to the MRE screen. That was removed when they updated that right click list (version 10, I believe). Now you just right click and select "Most Recent Encounter".

Do you recall where the Pull Chart was located on the drop down menu?

If I remember correctly, it was right at the top.

That's what I thought. I hope they rethink it and put it back.

When you hit the old "pull chart" button, didn't it do the same thing (open the MRE)?

A faster option is to hit F7 to open MRE (or F5 for demographics, F9 for imports and F11 for billing) My dislike is that printing is a series of submenus and whereas control-p in the chart gives you chart print, that doesn't work the same on the front page, you have to go through a menu to write a letter

Yeah, I hate the new print thing. Funny how the little things....
F7 is the fastest, it's just that I use right-click for so many things, that I tend to just right-click on it. Before the Pull Chart was right there. I guess to each his own.

Yes, but I just don't associate MRE with pull chart. And, I have to look for it on the long menu. It was just a lot easier when it was the first one. You practically didn't have to move your mouse.
