Over the years, different forums have been created as during that time they were useful. There are now forums that remain unused cluttering up the look and format of the board. I would like to inactivate some that aren't being used and merge some that are the same. I am open for feedback on this and look forward to feedback at anytime on what would make a new forum. At the moment, the forums, I am considering inactivating (still searchable) are:
1. Helpful downloads 2. Amazing Charts Company Updates (I am not even sure if this is visible anymore (Ruben?) 3. Vendors for other software and programs 4. Software and Programs 5. Clinical Case Corner (Jon has already informed us of docsforum which is much better although it doesn't directly pertain to AC, but I find it much more useful) 6. Tech Talk (we have a new forum for this) 7. acBAY (my dumb idea as a knock off of eBay to sell and trade products amongst ourselves. -- I did sell one product brand new at 1/3 the cost to another member but this forum is not used 8. ACUG -- Let me know if this is still in use 9. Third Party Vendors -- again (in the past we had a guy named Tom I believe who worked with Nuance who was very helpful but that was it)
This still leaves plenty of forums that are active and much more helpful.
@Ruben -- any ideas for formatting?

Hi Bert,
Overall idea sounds great. Some of the forums that you list have not had new posts for a year or so.
I wonder whether subforums are really necessary/useful at all. Usually I just look at most recent posts, and I really am not aware which subforum is involved. Usually when I search, it is the entire board, not a subforum.
Thanks.

Good point. But, you kind of have to have forums. So people know where to start their threads. I get what you are saying but why keep it simple when you can make it complicated, right? . Just look at the new IT forum. Someone may come along and want to just dive in and see what threads interest them. They may be threads that have no new posts in a week or so. But, you are a mod, so I have to take your point.

I agree with the plan you outline, Bert.
Thanks for the plug for docsforum.net. Still encouraging people to take a look and hopefully begin posting.

Thanks Jon,
I have had several good cases to share and even more where I could use the collective help of those on the forum. Just, by the end of the day, I am trying to get home and find a bed.
