Carl. You are a moderator. You have to do better than the previous link to your tinyurl address. smile

Damn, I always hate when I give [censored] to someone who I know is better at giving [censored] to me. frown

And I really hate having my words censored when I control what words are censored, but you get the idea.

And risk getting more [censored] due to my grammar. Should I have a comma after Damn? Should I have a comma after And.

Nothing worse than "liking" your own edit.

Hi Bert,

Yes, a comma is correct after the expletive.

No, there is no comma after your "And" because we do not separate the second sentence from its coordinating conjunction unless there is an interpolated clause.

And, if you're curious, this sentence is an example of the above.

Finally, remember that punctuation is not grammar, the first being visual and the second being audible.

Hi Koby,

In that era, I had a stylish pair of trousers just like those.

Nowadays I prefer a tasteful ensemble of yellow shorts and orange t-shirts, changing in winter to a somber pair of gray sweat pants.

Cheers,

I knew I would be taken to the cleaners again. Cool. Cleaners goes well with all of these trousers.
