1. Those on V11.1, do your patients get a text message once their eRx was sent? I read that it's one of the new features of this version. Just want to know if it's working for others. It's not working for us because we put the patient's phone number in the "phone number" box and nothing in the "cell phone" box. The release notes says it'll text the number in the cell phone box only.
2. We have 4 people here and AC has been crashing twice a day for one of the users (not me). It's crashing when they are saving the chart to update patient demographics.
3. ERx is at a good speed.

I'll answer my own question in case it helps anyone.  The text message feature when eRx is sent is not for patients under 18 years. Support and I figured this out yesterday. It's a shame it won't work for us. I was getting excited about having this feature.

You would need a caveat on it for them to realize that it doesn't mean the pharmacy got it or that they didn't somehow lose it. We changed all of our demographics so that the cell phones were in the cell phone.

So I've gotten a text from my kid's doctor about eRx sent before. I guess this specialist's EMR doesn't have the under 18 rule. It says: "Hello KidName, Specialist Office has sent your script to CVS 0002 at 1234 Main St., Houston." I thought it was really convenient so I don't have to keep calling their office to check on the Rx status. (every time I call, they have to verify my name DOB and address. so annoying.)

How did you change the phone demographics, Bert? I am manually changing each patient as they get on the schedule.

Amazing Charts reps! Please contact those with crashes and track them down. This is free product improvement and positive advertising if you fix stuff brought up here.
Crashes are the #1 deal breakers!

hello,
I just upgraded to version 11.1. I seem to be getting frequent runtime errors. For example , when I try to send an e rx , the screen may freeze and AC shuts down . The same if any of the other functions freeze for a few secs ,this happens Would appreciate any input. Bala

We have upgraded to 11.1.2 for almost a month now and attest time to time we also see these crashes, appear to be benign in nature, and recoverable by closing and re-starting Amazing Charts.
