For the longest time the AC Lock screen window (when you leave AC open and unlocked) has always hidden itself behind every other application window.

For some reason you can't click on the AC taskbar icon to bring it forward so you can type your password in and unlock AC. You have to minimize all your other application windows to find it.

Its very very annoying and imho bad design.

Does AC know about this issue?
Are there suggested workarounds besides "remember to logout of AC"?

Hi Josue,

Probably not, but someone else might know a trick.

I'm assuming that you've tried alt-tab.

Windows that pop "under" tend to stay there, out of reach until whatever's over them is removed.

I've met a number of EMR's whose miserable installs sillently pop the small finished-click-ok window underneath the main window, leaving you to wonder why the install is taking so long.

AC's lock screen probably assumes that you wouldn't be running other programs whose windows might obscure its glory.

You're right that it's bad programming.

Cheers,

Hi Carl,

Yes Alt-Tab is useless because it doesn't appear as an option. Apparently it hides itself from Windows.

Windows Key + M is my best option but I still have to use the mouse to activate the AC Session Locked window to type in my password.

@Mark, is this at least on the known bug list?

I'm pretty sure I've "reported a bug" before but I don't see it in the known issues on any release notes.

I just tried it myself and verified. I created a bug report for this in our internal system.
