Hi, I work for a private practice that acquired another private practice that was using Amazing Charts. We have been maintaining the database for about a year now and we just ran into a few issues with the database. When opening Amazing Charts, it prompts us with "Amazing Charts Setup Assistant" and "What is the hostname of the main computer?." This is from the Main Computer so I select "This is my Main Computer" and it gives "Run-time error '6440': Object reference not set to an instance of an object." and closes the program. We aren't able to access the database, so I am wondering if anyone has ran into this before. I think the issue was created when the auto backup creator made too many backups without us manually deleting any which led to our hard drive filling over time and running out of room. I have since cleaned some of the room on the hard drive and the problem is persisting. Thank you for any help, I attached images of the messages that we get upon opening.

Ran into similar problem when my systemsettings.xml file would somehow get erased. Go to C:/Program Files (x86)/Amazing Charts/SystemSettings.xml open up the file should be about 30 lines of data there example:

if it's empty look to see if there is a systemsettingsbackup file that has the info in it. If so rename the backup file as SystemSettings.xml save it(will need administrator rights to do it) and likely will work after you reboot the computer

Glad you got it going, by the way suggest you make a copy of that working SystemsSettings.xml file put it on desktop or somewhere where can be easily accessed as when I had the problem it seemed to repeat itself every couple of weeks, never figured out why but was quicker to copy and paste when needed.
