Only one of my 6 workstations has a bug which makes the print button within any imported item inert. Nothing happens when the button is pushed. AC support suggested changing from Adobe Reader to Foxit Reader but the problem persists. I've repaired the Adobe Reader installation--no better. My staff does a workaround by saving the file to desktop, then printing (to printer or Updox) from there, which works. Anyone else with the same problem? Any solutions?

Hi Larry, You may have tried a plain Windows/programs/Adobe uninstall/reinstall or a Windows/programs/Adobe/repair. They're not the same as the Adobe Reader DC and Acrobat DC Cleaner Tool. It's Adobe's standalone pull-everything-out-by-the-roots uninstall-and-cleanup tool: https://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.htmlCheers, Carl Fogel

I have this same issue as larrybmd. Let us know if the adobe roto-rooter solves the issue.

We had that problem as well, I switched the printer to Microsoft PDF printer. That worked great except when printed into updox it would cut off the edges. I then went into print properties and changed the setting to fit the page. That fixed the issue and now it works great.

I reached out to AC about the same issue. Right click on the Import Item, chose open in default application and then you should be able to print using the print button within Adobe Reader. You could also try: To do this, first make sure Amazing Charts and Adobe Reader are closed (no open PDF files are being viewed). Then:
Open Adobe Reader DC Click on Edit on the top left At the bottom click on Preferences (or hit CTRL+K on the keyboard) Under the Security (Enhanced) setting, you will want to UNCHECK Enable Protected Mode at Startup as well as Enable Enhanced Security.

This is one of those little things that I have worked around so much I have forgotten to look for a solution. Changing the preferences under Adobe Reader DC worked for me as well.

Another option is to right click, open in default program / app and then the print button for PDF works.
