My 10 year old fujitsu scanner is going on the blink, any recommendations for a TWAIN scanner these days?

Hi jimmie,
Any of the Canon imageClass or imageRunner All-In-One with copy/print/fax/scan even at $149 will server you right for a long time. And if it breaks, just throw it away. The new one will come with toner so it's the same deal.
Bert
It also comes with a fax server for faxing from desktops.

Brother ADS 2800W has been my go to. Works well with a lot of cloud applications too due its network capabilities. Scan to SFTP/Shared Folder/etc. without being connected to a PC.

Sandeep, thanks for the recommendation, here in Montana not a lot of options, only have Staples Sam's and Walmart close by so I ended up getting an Epson ES-400 twain compatible, may not be as durable as a Brother or Fujitsu but will see how long I can work this Epson. Working good so far.

This is Sandeep's 9 month rule, lol. It used to be Canon. I love Canon. I would never go with Brother over Canon. But that's just I.

Haha, Canon does have nice document scanner. My recommendation often depends on the size of the office and their scanning needs. The bigger they are, the more they prefer a centralized/managed/scanning system like a commercial MFC Xerox/Canon/Sharp/etc. Often, offices of that size have some sort of contract with their local copy/print company. Scanners and Copiers go hand-in-hand.
Personal/document scanners are often preferred by smaller offices (Something they can keep near their computers). I like the Brother because it requires no interface to any machine. Really great for a lot of security reasons.
