A client just updated a Windows 10 system and found it printing white letters on a black background on a Brother laser printer that printed normally on W7.
It's a widespread Windows 10 update bug with a fix:

I have a Brothers ink jet printer and after one win 10 upgrade.
It did not print correctly till I re-installed the brothers print driver from the Brothers cd.
It also changed the default printer from brothers.
Since then windows updated the driver again but it is still printing correctly.
There is no such thing as stupid questions , Just stupid answers.
