Using Cloud AC through MS RD.

Trying to export Patient Demographics so I can supply information to a third party supplement vendor that I am partnering with.

Instructions say that when I click to export that set of information that AC will place the AmazingChartsDemographics.csv file in the Amazing Charts Folder on "this computer". Well, needless to say, I cannot confirm that that is happening because not only am I unable to find the file, I am also unable to to find a folder on my computer labeled, "Amazing Charts".

Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

Todd

Hi,

If you haven't already searched . . .

On W7, LEFT-click on Start (lower left desktop corner) and enter A*.csv in the "search programs and files" box.

On W10, RIGHT-click on Start (lower left desktop corner), LEFT-click on "search", and enter A*.csv in the "Type here to search" box.

If AmazingChartsDemographics.csv doesn't appear, it's not on the computer.

If it does appear, RIGHT-click on it and choose the option to open its location, which will show it in its AC folder with the folder name at the top.

Cheers,

Carl Fogel

Hi Todd,

That export will always export the file to the computer that AC is installed on... in this case, the cloud server. You will need to contact support to have them retrieve the file for you.

That's exactly what I have been trying to do but getting in touch with technical support is a whole other story........

If you have suggestions about how to bypass the phone messages and scheduling a tech support appointment, which don't work that well, that would be greatly appreciated.

Email me your info directly at mdabeck@harriscomputer.com. Please include your practice name as well. I can reach out to support and try and get this expedited for you.

There is another way you can get some basic demographics that may work, depending on what your partner needs. You can use the report function to generate a list of patients, including addresses. It all depends on what they need.

For example, if they just need names and addresses, then you can click on the "Reports" button, select "Common Searches" at the top, and select "All Unique Households". Once selected, click "Run" to get the list. After the list runs, you can select "Export" and export the file to a location of your choosing in XLS format (you can change this to CSV later in Excel). We can also do something similar if they need different options on the report. As I said, it all depends on what they need. I'd be happy to help you design a report if you think that would suffice.
