If this becomes popular, I will make it its own forum.
If often may have a question, say at what level does a patient without known hypothyroidism need to start supplementation with Synthroid for a TSH of 8.5 with a normal FT4? Obviously, I try to do a curbside call or referral to my local endocrinologist but sometimes it doesn't warrant it. I would add a disclaimer as to responsibility for answer and PHI, other than gender, ethnicity and age would not be entered.
I would find this invaluable. So many specialists or even PCPs who could help.
What is everyone's thoughts. Obviously, if one is an adult GT doctor and they don't feel comfortable answering a question, they don't have to. Maybe they just cite a good article.

Hi Bert,
I think this was sort of the idea behind "Clinical Corner and Cases" that never really got off the ground.
Certainly worth giving it another go!

It was. I started that one as well. I don't know. Say someone had a question on MiraLax. I used it daily on patients and know the cleanout and maintenance and Exlax chocolate squares if needed.
If people don't ask questions, then it won't work.
Plus the subject line above can be taken as Stories about patients that had cool stuff.
