Hello All,

Sometimes I want to send a letter to doctor after I've completed all the screens for that visit eg add a few lines I forgot in a message/letter to the doctor. I don't seem to be able to bring up a screen that allows me to do that on a visit that is already entered and completed.

I'm missing something simple.

Everything's fine as long as you saved the letter before you closed it.

Just go to the patient's Imported Items tab, and select the letter you just wrote. Highlight the text of the letter, and copy it.

Now open the letter writer and paste the text and edit as needed.

Everyone already knows I had to ask, so if if helps you I will point out what I was Amazed to find out, you CAN copy and paste in Amazing Charts, where a right click only brings up templates. Highlight the text, then press Control + C to copy and then Control + V to paste. Probably I am the only person left on Earth who didn't know that.

Doc,
You are the only person left on earth! <joking>
Actually, subsequently new AC users will not know that so you won't hold that title for much longer.

On letter writing, a little gem you may not be aware of: if you enter a patient's name on the left screen of AC, then right click their name, you will get a drop down screen that allows for many options. One of those options allows you to open the letter writer and thus write a consultation letter or some other letter at a later date if you wish.

If you already knew this, please don't take this reply as patronizing....definitely not my intent. Just wanted to make sure you were aware of this right clicking feature.

I believe Cntrl-Right Click will pull up a small menu to let you cut & paste also.
