Hi,
Well here I sit again after a Windows 10 update and I cannot get AC to start--gives me the following error:
"Could not open the Amazing Charts configuration file at C:\Program Files (x86)\AmazingCharts\SystemSettings.xml. This was due to the error: Root element is missing."
Amazing Utilities will not even run.
Any ideas on what went wrong and how to fix this "New" problem ???
Thanks ( I promised to my self that I would not curse for Lent )

Hooray ! Problem fixed. I emailed support and they called back a few hours later--Ryan fixed the problem in about 3 minutes during a remote session.

Jack,
Most likely it was a corruption of the Amazing Charts SystemSettings.xml file a problem with AC version 10.1. Probably support put a copy of a good systemsettings file on your desktop so they can more quickly restore it again. The problem tends to recur.
