Does Anyone know if when you do this, you can put in the diagnosis codes in the template and it will pull to the notes and the superbill? This would be so useful with all the new DIag codes you have to keep adding to each chart for basic stuff like ankle pain or headache or whatever.

Hi Dr Mody.

You actually can, and the diagnosis will go over to the superbill as long as you keep the formatting (#I10: Hypertension). The one downside is any ICD codes that are added like that will not go over to the patients Problem list. For that reason I would recommend doing this with those DX codes that would normally not belong on the problem list. Such as Z00.00 or Z23 for example.
